After 15 years of fighting, hundreds of billions of dollars spent, and tens of thousands killed on both sides, Afghanistan is not better off today than it was immediately following the collapse of the Taliban regime.



The article fails to mention that we are in Afghanistan to harvest the poppies for the drug trade and some minerals. When will the American people say enough is enough with our own government running drugs?
