Don’t Run from Iran

The President has said that he won’t allow Iran to acquire the capability to make nuclear weapons. Israel is supposed to count on him, a man who was a foreign student in the 1980s who told the Ayers’ postman that he would be the President of the United States. Only someone with significant backing (Saudi Arabia? CIA? Both?) could have made such a confident claim. (The Ayers espoused the Communist line, and their son was a terrorist and friend of Obama.)

Netanyahu has no reason to put his faith in a friend of Communists who has been registered as a Muslim, a man who has lied about and covered up his background, a man who is probably ineligible for the Presidency. Israel has to choose between the lesser of two evils. Israel cannot afford to wait until after the November 2012 elections for Obama to decide what he will do. The window is closing too rapidly.

The choices are hard and ugly. Sanctions have not worked, and they will not work, against Iran. The mind-set of Tehran’s mullahs is that if they can create enough death and carnage, the Twelfth Imam will suddenly appear and the world will have peace. The theology is bizarre, but they devoutly believe that if they cause bloody carnage, the world will become a better place.

The mullahs do not want peace. Iran has backed Hamas’s rockets into Israel and Syria’s butchery of thousands of people, including hundreds of children. Diplomacy will not work.
So should we sit by while people intent on carnage develop nuclear weapons? These are people who would not hesitate to have their agents smuggle dirty nuclear bombs into the United States. Or do we give the green light to Israel and support an Israeli attack? It is war now, where we can win and stop nuclear lunacy, or war later, where nuclear lunacy will explode around the planet. The choices are ugly, but I say we should support Israel in a campaign to wipe out Iran’s nuclear program.

Obama is not a Christian

The Constitution says that “no religious test” is required to become President. Fine. But credibility is an issue. Mr. Obama has said he is a Christian. The Bible say you shall know them by their works. Let’s talk a look at his Administration’s acts of hostility toward people of Biblical faith:

April 2008 – Obama speaks disrespectfully of Christians, saying they “cling to guns or religion” and have an “antipathy to people who aren’t like them.”

February 2009 – Obama announces plans to revoke conscience protection for health workers who refuse to participate in medical activities that go against their beliefs, and fully implements the plan in February 2011.

April 2009 – When speaking at Georgetown University, Obama orders that a monogram symbolizing Jesus’ name be covered when he is making his speech.

May 2009 – Obama declines to host services for the National Prayer Day (a day established by federal law) at the White House.

April 2009 – In a deliberate act of disrespect, Obama nominated three pro-abortion ambassadors to the Vatican; of course, the pro-life Vatican rejected all three.

October 19, 2010 – Obama begins deliberately omitting the phrase about “the Creator” when quoting the Declaration of Independence –an omission he has made on no less than seven occasions.

November 2010–Obama misquotes the National Motto, saying it is “E pluribus unum” rather than “In God We Trust” as established by federal law.

January 2011–After a federal law was passed to transfer a WWI Memorial in the Mojave Desert to private ownership, the U. S. Supreme Court ruled that the cross in the memorial could continue to stand, but the Obama administration refused to allow the land to be transferred as required by law, and refused to allow the cross to be re-erected as ordered by the Court.

February 2011 – Although he filled posts in the State Department, for more than two years Obama did not fill the post of religious freedom ambassador, an official that works against religious persecution across the world; he filled it only after heavy pressure from the public and from Congress.

April 2011 – For the first time in American history, Obama urges passage of a non-discrimination law that does not contain hiring protections for religious groups, forcing religious organizations to hire according to federal mandates without regard to the dictates of their own faith, thus eliminating conscience protection in hiring.

August 2011 – The Obama administration releases its new health care rules that override religious conscience protections for medical workers in the areas of abortion and contraception.

November 2011 – Obama opposes inclusion of President Franklin Roosevelt’s famous D-Day Prayer in the WWII Memorial.

November 2011 – Unlike previous presidents, Obama studiously avoids any religious references in his Thanksgiving message.

December 2011 – The Obama administration denigrates other countries’ religious beliefs as an obstacle to radical homosexual rights.

January 2012 – The Obama administration argues that the First Amendment provides no protection for churches and synagogues in hiring their pastors and rabbis.

February 2012 – The Obama administration forgives student loans in exchange for public service, but announces it will no longer forgive student loans if the public service is related to religion.

These are the acts of a leader opposed to Christianity. Mr. Obama’s credibility is doubtful on this issue.

Obama, Israel and Iran

President Obama spoke to AIPAC on Sunday morning, and he chastised those engaged in “loose talk of war” with Iran while he touted a policy of diplomacy towards Iran, which continues to enrich uranium and is suspected of clandestinely building a nuclear weapon. I’m surprised he didn’t say he had reached an agreement with Iran for “peace in our time,” as Neville Chamberlain said after Munich. Although he is sophisticated when it comes to media manipulation of his own image, Obama is naive when it comes to foreign policy. The Iranian leaders know how to play a meat-headed socialist-Muslim like Obama. They will make promises and minor concessions while they will continue to build a nuclear bomb which, once built, would alter the balance of power in the Middle East and spur a nuclear arms race.

Fortunately, President Netanyahu of Israel has asserted Israel’s right to protect itself. “My supreme responsibility as prime minister of Israel is to ensure that Israel remains the master of its fate,” Netanyahu told Obama. Israel should not count on Obama’s support, or believe his promises. He said during his “Hope and Change” campaign that he would support Israel. Since the Obama took the White House, he has done as little as possible to support Israel and as much as possible to support Israel’s enemies. Despite his blatant rejection of the Bible, Obama is playing into the prophecies in Ezekiel Chapters 38 and 39, where Russia will declare war on Israel, and Israel, with God’s help, will wipe out the invaders.

In the meantime, Israel should take whatever steps are necessary to halt Iran’s nuclear program.

I’m sorry Nevada Governor Sandoval canceled a trade mission to Israel. I would like to see trade increase between Nevada and Israel. Slot machines with Hebrew characters? Who knows?

Sheriff Joe’s Cold Posse found that Obama’s White House birth certificate is probably a forgery and that Hawaii officials have systematically blocked investigation. I would like to see the national and state Republican parties file lawsuits to make Obama prove his eligibility to be placed on the ballot in each state and in Washington D.C.

Rush Limbaugh has a point: If a woman wants me as a taxpayer to pay for her contraception, she makes me a pimp, and she is herself a slut. There is no “right” to contraception. A woman is free in this country to lead an immoral lifestyle, but it takes chutzpah to ask the taxpayers to pay for her contraception and, if she gets pregnant, for her abortion. Instead, she might consider that celibacy while single has its merits.
