April 9: Fleetwood Mac – Gypsy [with lyrics]

Fleetwood Mac – Gypsy [with lyrics]

“Gypsy”

So I’m back to the velvet underground
Back to the floor that I love
To a room with some lace and paper flowers
Back to the gypsy that I was
To the gypsy . . . that I was
And it all comes down to you
Well, you know that it does
Well, lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice
Ah, and it lights up the night
And you see your gypsy
You see your gypsy
To the gypsy that remains faces freedom with a little fear
I have no fear, I have only love
And if I was a child
And the child was enough
Enough for me to love
Enough to love
She is dancing away from me now
She was just a wish
She was just a wish
And a memory is all that is left for you now
You see your gypsy
You see your gypsy
Lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice
And it all comes down to you
And it all comes down to you
Lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice
And it all comes down to you
I still see your bright eyes, bright eyes
And it all comes down to you
I still see your bright eyes, bright eyes
And it all comes down to you
I still see your bright eyes, bright eyes
(She was just a wish)
(She was just a wish)
And it all comes down to you
Lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice
And it all comes down to you

April 9: What Scripture says about taking the unborn child’s life

Here are some Scripture references that concern taking the life of an unborn child:

Exodus 21:22-25: This passage speaks of hurting a woman with a child so that her fruit departs and then states that if any harm follows, you shall give life for life.

Psalm 139:13-16:

13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

Jeremiah 1:4-5:
The word of the LORD came to me, saying,
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Archangel Gabriel said in Luke 1:15: “He shall be filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother’s womb.”

Luke 1:24-56; see verse 41, where Elizabeth’s baby leaped in her womb when she heard the salutation of Mary and verse 44, where Elizabeth said, “The baby leaped in my womb for joy.”

Isaiah 44:2:
This is what the LORD says–
he who made you, who formed you in the womb,
and who will help you:
Do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant,
Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.
Isaiah 49:1:

Listen to me, you islands;

hear this, you distant nations:
Before I was born the LORD called me;
from my mother’s womb he has spoken my name.

Biblically it appears that the killing of an unborn child is equivalent to murder. See Exodus 21, that God knows the unborn child before it is born; Psalms 139 and 51, Jeremiah 1, and Luke 1, that the unborn child is very much a child.

D.A. Adam Schiff: A prosecution based on debt re-financing. That’s going to get you real far with the jury.
Stone: I’ll lay it out for them. I’ll draw them a Monopoly board.
D.A. Adam Schiff: Yeah, I’d like to see them get from “Park Place“ to “Go.”

If aliens visit us, the outcome would be much as when Columbus landed in America, which didn’t turn out well for the Native Americans. … We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn’t want to meet.

Crimes and Criminals

There’d never been a more advantageous time to be a criminal in America than during the 13 years of Prohibition. At a stroke, the American government closed down the fifth largest industry in the United States—alcohol production —and just handed it to criminals—a pretty remarkable thing to do.

~Bill Bryson

The ban on sports betting does exactly what Prohibition did. It makes criminals rich.
