Wake up, strengthen what remains

America, wake up to the fact that our nation is in danger of becoming a one party socialist nation where the politicians in power, the media and the social media all work in concert to control public opinion and bend the individual to the will of an all powerful government

NUMBERS CHAPTER TEN

NUMBERS CHAPTER TEN

1 The LORD told Moses: 2 “Make two trumpets out

Of hammered silver, and use them for calling

Together the community and for

Having the camps set out. 3 When both are sounded,

The whole community shall gather in

Front of you at the entrance to the Tent

Of Meeting, 4 but if only one is sounded,

The leaders−heads of clans of Israel−

Are to assemble in front of you. 5 When

A trumpet blast is sounded, tribes that camp

Upon the east are to set out. 6 And at

The sounding of a second blast, the camps

Upon the south are to set out. The blast

Will be the signal for them to set out.

7 To gather the assembly, blow the trumpets,

But not with the same signal. 8 Sons of Aaron,

The priests, shall blow the trumpets. This shall be

A lasting ordinance for you and all

Generations to come. 9 When you go to

Battle in your own land against a foe

Who has oppressed you, sound a trumpet blast.

The LORD your God will then remember you

And save you from your enemies. 10 And at

The times when you rejoice−your scheduled feasts

And New Moon festivals−you are to sound

The trumpets over your burnt offerings

And offerings of fellowship, and they’ll

Be a memorial for you before

Your God. I am the LORD your God.” 11 and on

Day twenty of the second month within

The second year, the cloud did lift from over

The tabernacle of the Testimony.

12 The Israelites set out from Sinai Desert

And traveled place to place until the cloud

Came down to rest in Paran Desert. 13 They

Set out, this first time, at the Lord’s command

Through Moses. 14 The divisions of the camp

Of Judah went first, underneath their standard.

Nahshon, Amminadab’s own son, was in

Command. 15 Nethanel son of Zuar was

Commander over the division of

The tribe of Issachar; 16 Eliab son

Of Helon was division leader of

The tribe of Zebulun. 17 The tabernacle

Was taken down, and those who carried it,

The Gershonites and Merarites, set out.

18 Divisions of the camp of Reuben went

Next, underneath their standard, with Elizur

The son of Shedeur commanding. 19 Now

Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai

Commanded the division of the tribe

Of Simeon; 20 Eliasaph the son

Of Deuel headed the division of

The tribe of Gad. 21 The Kohathites then set

Out, carrying the holy things. Before

They came, the tabernacle was to be

Set up. 22 And next went Ephraim’s divisions

Of camp beneath their standard. Elishama
The son of Ammihud commanded them.

23 Gamaliel, Pedahzur’s son, was over

Manasseh’s tribe’s division; 24 Abidan

The son of Gideoni was above

The tribe of Benjamin’s division. 25 And

Finally, as the rear guard for all units,

Divisions of the Dan’s camp set up, beneath

Their standard. Ammishaddai’s son Ahiezer

Was in command. 26 And Ocran’s son Pagiel

Commanded the division of the tribe

Of Asher, 27 and Ahira son of Enan

Was over the division of the tribe

Of Naphtali. 28 This was the order of

March for the Israelite divisions as

They set out. 29 Moses said to Hobab son

Of Midianite Reuel, Moses’ father‑

In‑law, “We’re going to the place of which

The LORD said, ‘I will give it to you.’ Come

With us and we will treat you well, for God

Has promised Israel good things.” 30 He said

“No, I won’t go; I’m going back to my

Own land and my own people.” 31 Moses said,

“Please do not leave us. You know where we should

Camp in the wilderness, and you can be

Our eyes. 32 And if you come with us, we’ll share

With you whatever good things God gives us.”

33 So they set out from the LORD’s mountain and

Traveled three days. The ark of covenant

Of God went up before them those three days

To find a place to rest for them. 34 God’s cloud

Was over them by day when they set out

From camp. 35 And when the ark began to set

Out, Moses said, “Rise up, O LORD! And may

Your enemies be scattered; may your foes

Run off in front of you.” 36 And when it came

To rest, he said, “Return, O LORD, to dwell

With countless thousands of your Israel.”
